From a relict to a biological protection area

The Paguro Platform was created in order to extract oil from the underground following Enrico Mattei’s decision to build a new petrochemical center in Ravenna. The structure didn’t last long, as it was eventually wrecked by an explosion. Nowadays, the platform enjoys a new, incredible life.
